COAS attends funeral prayers of martyrs in Peshawar

RAWALPINDI: COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa attended the funeral prayers of 11 security personnel, including an officer, martyred in Swat suicide blast Saturday, Geo News reported. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Peshawar Corps commander and other senior, civil and military officials were also present Sunday at the funeral prayers held in Peshawar. The army chief later visited the CMH Hospital in the provincial capital to meet those injured in the incident.
