Teacher shot dead in Hangu

HANGU: Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a school teacher in Shanawari area here on Thursday, sources said.
They said a high school teacher identified as Muhammad Iqbal was on way to his school when unknown persons opened fire on him.
The teacher was rushed to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. Meanwhile, the teachers association protested the killing and blocked the Hangu Bazar Road.
Shakir Ahmed, Jahanzaib Khan and Asaamuddin led the protest. They asked the government to arrest the accused forthwith.The protesters lamented that the Hagu police had failed to protect the life of citizens. They said up to 12 teachers had lost lives in target killings.
