MTI Abbottabad set to launch institution-based private practice
PESHAWAR: The Board of Governors of Medical Teaching Institute Abbottabad has decided to launch Institution-based Private Practice (IBP) by the 1st of February.
A press release said the IBP is the private practice conducted by known clinical consultants on the premises of teaching hospital of the MTI Abbottabad.
It is aimed at providing the patients with a complete package of standardised health care services and products at very competitive rates under one roof.
The main objective of the IBP is to provide public with the option of regulated, affordable, convenient and quality health care services 24/7, develop a career path for practicing consultants, utilise the large resource and potential of this institution and achieve financial self-sustainability.
The IBP will provide a regulated and efficient environment for consultants to do practice and impart standard health care to the clients.
BoG Chairman Major General (retd) Prof Asif Ali Khan said that the IBP was an exclusively consultant driven practice and shall provide all secondary and tertiary health care services/products under one roof with maximum focus on quality and responsiveness.
