Suicide vests, explosives recovered in Mardan

MARDAN: A terrorism bid was foiled by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and secret agencies in the limits of Jabbar Police Station and recovered suicide jackets and weapons on Tuesday, a police official said. Speaking at a news conference, District Police Officer (DPO) Mian Saeed Ahmed said that acting on a tip-off police, the CTD and secret agencies officials recovered two suicide jackets, two hand-grenades, four detonators, two batteries and one pistol from the backside of Abdul Wali Khan University Shankar campus.
