Blind murders mystery resolved

OKARA: Police Wednesday claimed resolving mystery of two blind murders and arresting killers in separate cases.
Few days ago, Zakir and his wife Gulnaz were on the way to Khokhar Kothi from Habibabad when they were intercepted by dacoits.
The dacoits shot dead Zakir and injured his wife. The robbers snatched her earrings and other valuables.
PS Sadar Renala Khurd registered a case under sections 302, 392, 324 PPC and traced killers. The police arrested accused Abusufyan, of Pattoki and Abid, of Faisalabad and recovered earrings from their possession. The accused were sent to Sahiwal jail.
In the second case, Liaqat, son of Shafi, of Pakpattan, Liaqat, son of Munir and Ghulam Nabi, of Lahore were friends and rickshaw drivers at Lahore.
Liaqat, son of Munir and Ghulam Nabi planned to kill Liaqat, son of Shafi, to get his rickshaw. So they killed him and threw his body in a small canal near Shergharh locality.
SHO PS Shergarh Inspector Allah Ditta resolved the mystery and arrested Liaqat, son of Munir and recovered the rickshaw of the deceased.
Ghulam Nabi is still at large.
The accused told the police that to take the rickshaw, Ghulam Nabi and he murdered Liaqat.
