CHAKWAL: A 40-year-old woman was burnt alive allegedly by her son-in-law in village Ghugh in the area of Neela police station.
Mutilated body of Nusrat Kusar was recovered after four days.
According to police sources, Nusrat was burnt alive by her son-in-law Abdul Manan, of village Bullay Bala and his brother Zafar Iqbal over a monetary issue.
Nusrat son Wajid Hussain told police that his mother was missing from the house for the last two days.
Neela PS SHO Faisal Manzoor recovered the body when villagers informed the police and after the autopsy report he registered murder case against the two brothers.
BIOGRAPHY: The launching ceremony of the biography titled ‘Hum Bhee Whan Majood Thay’ of former federal minster Lt-Gen (retd) Abdul Majeed Malik will be held on March 6 at Islamabad Club. It is a story of the rising of a sepoy clerk upto the ranks of Lt-Gen in the Pakistan Army.
