Imran wants strong JIT to probe Kasur child abuse case
ISLAMABAD Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday said a strong JIT must investigate Kasur child pornography case that was ‘shamelessly’ dismissed as a land dispute by the Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.
“After the arrest of Imran Ali in Zainab rape and murder case, a tale of a well-connected operation of child pornography, abuse & murder is unravelling, as he is found to have numerous bank accts. Clearly the scale of these crimes against our innocent children shows involvement of powerful people,” he said in a series of tweets.
“Sad how controversy being created on whether or not Imran Ali had "accounts". We need to desist from sensationalism and press for a credible JIT to fully investigate the horrific tragedy of little Zainab and the other child victims of Kasur,” he also wrote.
Imran wrote, “They send 20 billion dollars annually in remittances plus some of our best brains are working abroad. InshaAllah they will play a leading role in building our Naya Pakistan”. “I congratulate the CJP for taking note of disenfranchisement of Overseas Pakistanis & asking Nadra & ECP to find ways to give them their right of vote. Overseas Pakistanis are our most valuable asset,” he maintained while referring to the question of giving right of vote to expats.
