COAS meets hockey World XI players

ISLAMABAD: International hockey players from World X1 and Hall of Fame, including Pakistan hockey legends met Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued here stated.The COAS appreciated Pakistan Hockey Federation’s (PHF) initiative for bringing the world players to Pakistan.He assured PHF of Pakistan Army’s support for provision of security for international hockey matches and revival of country’s national game. The PHF President, Brig (R) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar thanked the COAS for his keen interest and efforts for sports activities in Pakistan.
