Missing girl’s father seeks help of CJP
HANGU: The father of a minor girl child on Tuesday appealed to Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Yahya Afridi to help recover his daughter who had disappeared three years ago. Speaking at a press conference here, Abdul Qudoos said his three-year-old daughter Samina Bibi was kidnapped on March 31, 2015 from Champa Gul area in the district.
He said he got registered the kidnapping case of his daughter at the City Police Station. The man said the police had then identified the kidnappers and arrested them after six months to the incident but lamented that all the accused were acquitted by the courts due to poor investigation into the case. He said the accused did not demand ransom due to fear of being exposed.
The man said the family was passing through mental agony for the past three years. "We did not know if my daughter is alive or dead. If alive she would be six years old now. We are worried about the missing child and passing through severe mental stress," he added.
