World XI hockey players call on COAS

ISLAMABAD: Hockey World X1 players including Pakistan hockey greats Tuesday met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to an ISPR release, the Army chief appreciated Pakistan Hockey Federation’s initiative for bringing the World XI players to Pakistan.The COAS also assured the PHF of Army’s support for the provision of security to hold international hockey matches in Pakistan and revival of country’s national game.PHF president Brig (r) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar thanked the COAS for his keen interest in the sports activities in the country.
