Mere notices have unnerved Sharifs: Zardari
LAHORE: The PPP-P head, Asif Ali Zardari, Monday said mere serving notices had frustrated the Sharif brothers even before the beginning of accountability.
Talking to party leaders at Bilawal House, the former president said the Sharifs had not faced even slightest of accountability so far and their frustration was just because their international corruption network was about to be exposed. Zardari said the Sharifs’ corruption network wasn’t confined to Pakistan only and had been spread across Middle East, Latin America, the US and Europe. The meeting chaired also reviewed the arrangements for the February 5 rally at Mochi Gate as Zardari directed the party organisations to constitute committee to look after the preparations. The meeting was attended by former premier Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, PPP Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira, General Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor, Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat and others.
