OKARA: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued directions for early completion of Habibabad Overhead Bridge.
Sources said on Monday that after receiving information about increasing incidents of highway robberies in the North-East end of under construction Habibabad Overhead Bridge the CM took notice of the issue and issued directions for early completion of the bridge. The sources told that Okara DPO Faisal Rana and Kasur DPO Rai Babar during a meeting at the district boundaries a week ago had decided to launch a joint action against the outlaws particularly vehicles looters. Meanwhile, taking strict action on weapons exhibition by the Parliamentarians and their guards, the Okara DPO issued orders that any person whoever he might be if exhibits weapons in public, he must be put behind the bars.
