Former SHO shot dead in Quetta
QUETTA: Unknown armed men shot dead a former SHO of Airport, namely Fazalur-Rehman, here at Fatima Jinnah Road area Quetta City on Sunday.
According to police sources, the victim was near Fatima Jinnah Road when armed assailants, riding a motorbike, opened fire at him and fled from the scene. As a result, he died on the spot after receiving bullet wounds.
The body of the deceased was shifted to Quetta Civil Hospital for legal formalities.
Police reached the site and cordoned off the entire area and started search to trace out suspects.
Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has strongly condemned the incident and directed authorities concerned to arrest suspects for justice.
He also prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the deported soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear irreparable loss with fortitude.
