Ambivalent Nawaz keeps his own umpire: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday alleged ex-PM Nawaz Sharif’s problem was he had always played with his own umpires and wanted a judge like justice Qayyum whom he could influence on writing a jugement, claiming the Supreme Court decision hence traumatised him.

He said in tweets, “NS's problem is he has always played with his own umpires and wanted a judge like Justice Qayyum whom he could influence on writing a judgement. Hence SC decision traumatised him and has led him to carry out a campaign attacking the country's superior judiciary.

“Now the motive behind NS's public mtgs has become evident with his declaration that the SC will have to take back their decision on his disqualification. He is seeking to build public pressure & in the process has let slip the fake sincerity in his desperate cry:Mujhe kyun nikala,” he said.

Meanwhile, Imran chaired a meeting of legal experts here and decided to be a party to the Hudaibya Papers Mills case and the meeting noted that there had been legal proceedings with regards to the NROs, concerning ex-president general Pervez Musharraf and former president Asif Ali Zardari.

The forum demanded of the Ministry of Defence to make public the investigations, carried out in the anti-military camping by Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif.
