ISLAMABAD: PPP’s senior leader, former interior minister and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Senator A Rehman Malik has appreciated the Ministry of Interior for banning the Mashaal Radio broadcasting and said that Mashaal Radio’s programmes were against the country’s interests and was propagating against Pakistan and was also part of the greater anti-Pakistan plan.
Rehman Malik also expressed grave concerns over the anti-Pakistan campaign in US where posters with “Free Karachi” are being distributed and displayed. "This anti-Pakistan campaign in US is a continuance of the earlier campaign in Europe particularly Geneva where “Free Balochistan” posters had been appeared on dozens of billboards across the country," he said in a statement on Saturday.
He said that Indian mission in Geneva was behind anti-Pakistan activities on behest of RAW and undoubtedly RAW is behind present anti-Pakistan campaign in US also.
Rehman Malik has asked the government of Pakistan to immediately summon US ambassador in Pakistan to condemn the anti-Pakistan posters in US and to convey him that such activities on US soil are against Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, in contravention of the UN Charter and international law.
He has asked the US authorities to make a policy statement as to why such anti-Pakistan movement has been allowed at the American soil. "There should be clarification direct from the White House as the people of Pakistan want a clear stance of US over the issue," he said.
He said that “Mashaal Radio”, “Free Karachi” and “Free Balochistan” campaigns and “Kulbhushan Yadav activities” are all interlinked and parts of greater plan against Pakistan.
