Kohat police launch Martyr Care System
KOHAT: A Martyr Care SMS System has been launched in the district to provide facilitate the heirs of the police martyrs.
The digital system was formally inaugurated by Kohat Regional Police Officer Awal Khan at a ceremony at Kohat Police Club, says an official statement. District Police Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat, SP Operations Jamil Akhtar, DSP City Raza Mohammad, DSP Legal Ishaq Gul and families of police martyrs were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the first digital system of the country, DIG Kohat Awal Khan appreciated the DPO and its team’s services. He eulogized the sacrifices of police and said that the martyrs are national heroes.
District Police Chief Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat gave detailed explanation of the system’s utility and functioning through slides. Issuing a mobile number 03330343435 installed in the Martyr Care SMS System, the DPO told the participants that all the messages through the system will be received directly on a mobile phone number and would also be saved in the system’s database, on which immediate response will be given.
