2 cops among three hurt in Chaman blast
CHAMAN: At least two police personnel among three received injuries in a blast at Mall Road near Chaman area of Killa Abdullah district on Wednesday. According to police sources, a time device bomb was attached with electricity pylon which went off when a vehicle of Frontier Corps personnel was crossing the area at Mall Road. Two policemen named Rozi Khan, Allah Gull and one passerby Attaullah received injuries in blast while police personnel were present on their duty at check post. FC personnel were luckily escaped in the blast, the police sources added. The injured were rushed to district headquarters hospital for medical aid where they were stated to be out of dangers. Soon after the incident, District Police Officer (DPO) Chaman Javed Khan Gharshin, DC Chaman Qaisar Khan Nasir and FC officials reached the site. Law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the entire area and started search to trace out suspects. Further investigation was underway.
