Mudassir makes first century break in U-18 Snooker
ISLAMABAD: Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir (Punjab) earned the credit of making first century break in the Jubilee Insurance 10th National Junior U-21 Snooker Championship on the last day of league round matches at the PSB Billiards & Snooker Hall, Islamabad, Tuesday.
Usman Ahmed (Punjab) from Group G, Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir (Pjb) from Group C, Ahsan Ramzan (Pjb) from Group H and Muhammad Umer Khan (Pjb) from Group D completed the pre quarter finals line. Quarter-finals would now be played Wednesday. Highlight of the last day of league round was the maiden century break by Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir. While playing against Hussain Godil (Sindh), he cracked a break of 108 in the 4th frame.
This so far was the highest break of the Championship. The previous best was 94 dropped in by Haris Tahir (Punjab) on the first day of the league round.
