Chitral council secretaries seek scale upgradation

CHITRAL: The councillors have asked the provincial government to honour its commitment of upgrading of the basic pay scale of the village secretaries to BS-14.

They said that a matriculated person was recruited as a clerk in BS-14 while graduation was set as qualification criteria for appointment of a village council secretary but were recruited in BS-7, which they termed as unjust. They also demanded regularisation of the services.
