PPPP submits adjournment motion in NA on Kasur incident
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Thursday submitted the adjournment motion in the National Assembly (NA) Secretariat to discuss the shocking and horrific incident of cold blooded murder of minor girl Zainab in Kasur.
The PPPP’s Imran Zafar Leghari, Shahzia Marri, Mrs Shahida Rehmani, Dr Azra Fazal, Begum Hussnain, Shagufta Jummani, Dr Nafisa Shah, Mehreen Razaq Bhutto, Dr Shazia Sobia, Surraya Jatoi, Mussarat Rafique Mehesar, and Mrs Shams-un-Nisa submitted the adjournment motion to discuss the issue so that a concrete strategy be devised to avoid such brutal incidents in future.
Through the adjournment motion, the PPP legislators stated that the NA should discuss the shocking and horrific incident of rape and cold blooded murder of a minor girl Zainab in Kasur as the tragic incident had once again raised serious reservations about the safety of children in the society.
