Looting spree continues in Gujranwala
GUJRANWALA: Dacoits and thieves deprived the citizens of cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables in different incidents here on Thursday.
In Aroop police precincts, three armed culprits snatched Rs0.1 million, gold chain and cell phone from Yasi;, in Kotwali area, dacoits took away Rs23,000, gold ornaments and cell phone from a woman; in Ahmed Nagar, bandits snatched Rs37,000 and cell phone from Farooq. In Sadr, Gujranwala, Masood was deprived of Rs40,000, gold ring and cell phone at gunpoint; in Ali Pur Chattha, robbers intercepted Imran and snatched Rs60,000, two cell phones and a gold locket set; in Kamoke, dacoits took away Rs42,000 and two cell phones from Haider Ali. Two armed culprits entered the shop of Anwar and looted Rs25,000 and valuables in Dhulley police precincts; in Gakhar Mandi, armed culprits looted Rs0.1 million, gold chain and cell phones from Yaqoob; in Sadr, Wazirabad, bandits snatched Rs60,000 and two cell phones from Mohsin; in Sabzi Mandi police precincts, Shahbaz was deprived of Rs15,000, motorcycle and cell phone at gunpoint; in Aroop area, some armed culprits intercepted a woman and looted Rs38,000, gold ornaments and a cell phone; in Sadr, Kamoke, some bandits snatched Rs0.15 million, gold ornaments and cell phones from Abu Bakar; in Wahndo area, dacoits took away Rs50,000, two cell phones and gold ornaments from Faqeer Muhammad; in Nowshera Virkan, robbers looted Rs45,000 and two cell phones from Zaheer. In Tatliwali area, dacoits looted Rs83,000, gold ornaments and cell phone from Salman; in Ahmed Nagar, Umair was deprived of Rs0.1 million and two cell phones at gunpoint, in Nowshera Virkan, bandits snatched Rs40,000 and cell phone from Khizar; in Wazirabad, swindlers took away Rs47,000, gold chain and cell phone from Abbas; in Sadr, Wazirabad, Farrukh was deprived of Rs37,000, gold ornaments and cell phone; at Sohdra, dacoits looted Rs70,000, gold ornaments and cell phone from Anwar; at Wahndo, Mazhar was deprived of Rs40,000, cell phone and gold ornaments at gunpoint; armed culprits took away Rs7,000, cell phone and motorcycle from Ashiq in Sabzi Mandi police precincts; in Gakhar Mandi, Asim was deprived of Rs30,000 and two cell phones; in Ali Pur Chattha, bandits snatched Rs73,000 and gold ornaments from Liaquat.
In Qilla Didar Singh, some armed men took away Rs57,000, two cell phones and a gold locket from Aslam; two armed culprits barged into the shop of Tahir and looted Rs18,000 and valuables in Garjakh police precincts; at Ferozwala, robbers looted Rs73,000, two cell phones and gold ornaments from Imran and in Tatlewali, Shoaib was deprived of Rs60,000, three cell phones and gold ornaments at gunpoint. In theft incidents, some unidentified thieves swept the houses and shops of Ali Raza, Jahangir, Naseer, Kashif, Rashi and Waleed while the motorcycle of Munir was stolen from Satellite Town area. Police have registered the cases.
