Three cops held over fake FIR in Kohat

KOHAT: The police arrested three cops of Hassanabdal Police Station over a fake first information report (FIR) here on Saturday, sources said.
The sources said that a team of Hassanabdal Police Station comprising Assistant Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ayub, constables Anwar Saeed and Malik Rizwan came to the Jangalkhel Police Station to seek help for the arrest of one Khalid Jan, who, they said, wanted to the Hassanabdal Police in corruption case.
When the cops checked the copy of the FIR, it turned out to be fake. The police arrested three of the cops and registered a case against them under sections 419 and 420 Pakistan Penal Code and informed the Hassanabdal Police.
