JI demands arrest of Kasur incident culprit
Rawalpindi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) district youth wing on Thursday staged a protest demonstration against brutal killing of a seven-year old innocent girl namely Zainab in Kasur demanding of the government to arrest the culprits involved in the heinous crime.
Led by Rawalpindi district (rural) ameer Shamsur Rehman Swat, the protest demonstration was held at Lalarukh Chowk Wah and it was also participated by JI candidate from PP-8 Waqas Khan, Dr. Muhammad Kamal, zonal presidents of JI youth Maulana Muhammad Qasim, Abid Mahmood, Maulana Akhtar Awan and others.
Addressing protestor, Shamsur Rehman said the tragic incident was a slap in the face of existing system where the poor people were no justice and security of their lives and properties. "Leaders like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are responsible for such incidents," he said adding the sitting and past rulers have been doing nothing in practical except from photo sessions. Muhammad Waqas Khan demanded of the government to immediately arrest culprits involved in the killing of the minor girl and ensure to give them exemplary punishment.
