Fear of Nawaz tethered so-called leaders to Qadri: Maryam

LAHORE: The person having allegiance to foreign powers has become the leader of this nation’s so-called leaders, said PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz about PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
In her tweets posted in Urdu on Monday, Maryam said Qadri was not a Pakistani citizen and had taken oath to take up arms against Pakistan, but the fear of public and political power of Nawaz had tethered all the opponents to the PAT chief’s post. Isn’t it the irony of history or what, she remarked.
Maryam was referring to all the parties who have joined the PAT chief in his movement against the PML-N over the Model Town incident. Her statement comes after Qadri announced a countrywide protest starting on January 17.
