Mardan police say no injustice done to Khwaja Hoti
PESHAWAR: The Mardan Police has said no injustice has been done to PPP leader Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti and he was given respect whenever he approached the police officials.
When his comments were sought about Khwaja Hoti’s claim that the Mardan Police was doing injustice to him on the instigation of PTI ministers, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mardan, Alam Khan Shinwari told The News that no disrespect was shown to him and nothing unjust was done. He said Khwaja Hoti may explain as to what injustice was done to him.
According to Alam Khan Shinwari, the District Police Officer Dr Mian Saeed had phoned Khwaja Hoti in connection with a case and sought his cooperation. “Khwaja Hoti also called me and made a complaint,” he recalled, adding that no disrespect was meant or shown to him.
