Multan beat Karachi to reach Disabled T20 final
KARACHI: Defending champions Multan beat hosts Karachi by four wickets to reach the final of the 6th National Disabled T20 championship here at RLCA on Thursday.
Multan won the toss and decided to field first. Karachi put up a modest score of 151-8. Rao Jawed smashed 60 off 50 balls with four towering sixes. M Zeeshan scored 31. Left-armer M Haris and Jahanzaib Tiwana took two wickets each.
Multan chased the target for the loss of five wickets. Majid Hussain scored 57, while Zaman Ali and Jahanzaib added 23 and 22, respectively. Zeeshan bagged three wickets, while Iqbal Hussain and Ameer Ahmed got one each. Majid of Multan was named the Man of the Match.
The final of the tournament will be played later in Karachi after the second phase which is scheduled at Rawalpindi next month. The top team of the second phase will compete for the trophy against Multan.
