GSA holds girls basketball gala

LAHORE: Galaxy Sports Academy (GSA), in collaboration with American Consulate Lahore, organised a girls basketball gala here at Kinnaird College courts. The 10-day gala continued with a theme ‘Empower Women through Sports’. US Consulate’s Public Affairs Officer Michael Guinan was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony. Also present on the occasion were Sultan Qureshi, Ms Mahreen, Dr Khalid Jameel, Khalid Butt, Prof Tahir Nazir and Ammara Rubab, Madood Jafri and Rabia Qadir. Rabia highlighted the aims and objectives of the Galaxy Sports Academy, which she said is working for the betterment of girls in various fields including sports since 2011.
