JHANG: The District Regional Transport Authority (DRTA) has launched a crackdown on public transport vehicles using LPG cylinders.
Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, DRTA Secretary Malik Tahir said that they had so far impounded 19 vehicles for illegally using LPG cylinders and registered cases against them. He said that they also fined Rs 11,000 to the vehicle drivers. He said that route permits of four vehicles had been cancelled for overcharging.
