Rs 5.4m Zakat fund released From Our Correspondent BHAKKAR: District Zakat Committee chairman Aftab Ahmed Gullo Wednesday distributed cheques for Rs 5.4 million among educational institutions, seminaries and the poor. After distributing the cheques, Gullo said the help would be extended to the poor and economically depressed people at their doorsteps and they would be compensated. The cheques released by the District Zakat Department were given to administrators of Mora Committee, Madarsa Darul Uloom, Ziaul Quran, Madarsa Muhammadia Ghousia, Fazil, Jamia Ghousia Shamsul Madaris, Jandawala, Madarsa Jamia Siddiqia Hanifia, Lorry Adda, Mankera and others.
