Rescue 1122 service functioning well in Mardan

MARDAN: The Rescue 1122 service is functioning well in Mardan and received more than 5,18,187 calls for help this year, an official said.
Spokesman for Rescue 1122, Shahzad Khan Yousafzai, briefed the media on Wednesday and said that the emergency service had been working efficiently in Mardan since its launch in November 2012. The official said the average response time was 5 to 7 minutes. He added that 21,435 affected people were rescued this year in 19,129 emergency incidents. The spokesman added that rescue service was launched in tehsil Rustam and Katlang this year.
