GUJRANWALA: The hepatitis C virus was detected in 40 traffic police wardens, including one lady warden, during medical examination of them at the DHQ Hospital.
On the order of the Punjab AIG, a medical examination of 350 traffic police wardens was conducted, including 18 lady wardens, and hepatitis C was detected in 40 wardens, told PRO to traffic police Mirza Umar here on Tuesday. He said that hepatitis B was detected in eight wardens during the medical examination. He said that the medical examination of CTO Asif Zafar Cheema and three DSPs would be held on Wednesday (today).
