ISLAMABAD: Annie Au of Hong Kong proved too good for the Malaysian teenager Sivasangari Subramaniam on her way to lift the $ 25000 CAS International Squash title at the Mushaf Ali Complex Friday. One of the top players on the women circuit Annie Au won 11-5, 11-7, 11-1 to stamp her supremacy at least in Asia.
Subramaniam who upset Australian top girl on her way to final was not in best of form against experience Annie Au who toyed with her in the last game. Though the Malaysian Subramaniam showed glimpses of her talent in the first, once Hong Kong player exerted pressure she found going tough and ultimately lost the match.“I like Pakistan and people here who know squash well and back and support players. I know Malaysian is talented girl but she lacks experience,” Annie Au said.

Foreign diplomats, former world champions Jahangir Khan, Qamar Zaman, Air Marshal Shahid Akhtar Alvi along with a large number of squash lovers witnessed the match.
