WAPDA, PAF, Navy, Army record wins in national volleyball
KARACHI: Defending champions WAPDA, Pakistan Air Force, Navy and Army on Thursday won their matches of the quarter-finals league of the 50th National Men’s Seniors Volleyball Championship at Pakistan Ordnance factories (POF) Wah Cantt Sports Complex.
WAPDA defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3-0 with the set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.
Pakistan Air Force whacked Police 25-12, 25-19, 25-14.
Navy got the better of POF 25-17, 25-19, 25-21.
Army overpowered Pakistan Juniors 3-0 with the set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-18.
The second leg of quarter-finals league will be held on Friday (today) which will decide the semi-finalists of the 17-outfit competitions.
POF face KP, PAF meet Army, WAPDA taken on Navy, while Pakistan Juniors will be put to a real test when they lock horns with Police.
