Karate coaches course gets under way today
LAHORE: The Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) is holding technical course for coaches from December 20.
The course has been allocated o PKF by the Pakistan Olympic Association under the World Program of IOC. The main purpose of the courses is to develop a hierarchy of coaches to train athletes on the modern scientific lines and achieve best level of performance. The course is being run under instructions of the World Karate Federation Coach Antinio Oliva currently the Best Karate coach in the world.
The course will be held at Punjab College Sports Gymnasium Hall near Ferozepur road Lahore. More than 35 Male and Female International and National Coaches from all over the country are participating in the course. Saadi Abbas (Asian & Commonwealth Gold Medalist) also participating in this course. The program will run in two categories theory and practical.
Lt Gen (retd) Syed Arif Hasan, President POA, will be the chief guest of the opening ceremony on Wednesday and guest of honour at the closing ceremony on December 23 will be Director General Sports Punjab Aamir Jan.
