Three die in Sargodha road accidents

SARGODHA: Three people, including a woman, died in separate road accidents on Thursday. According to police, M Hayyat Nisoana of Bhabhrana and Adnan Qureshi were travelling on a motorcycle when a speeding dumper hit them, leaving Adnan dead on the spot and Hayyat wounded. In another accident, a speeding dumper hit motorcyclist M Naveed and his wife Fauzia Bibi. As a result, Fauzia died on the spot and Naveed injured. A bus killed an unidentified man.
Funds Approved: The provincial government has approved funds worth Rs 70m for 24 uplift schemes through the city development package. According to a spokesman for the Deputy Commissioner's office, the funds would be utilised for completion of urban sewerage and other projects.
