Abbottabad outplay Pindi in U-16 Cricket

ISLAMABAD: Abbottabad beat Rawalpindi by nine wickets in the National Under-16 Cricket Championship at the Pindi Stadium Wednesday.
Asked to bat first Rawalpindi managed just 70 for the loss of eight wickets in reduced quota of 15 overs. Adil Niaz (2-11) and Syed Bilal (2-23) bowled well for Abbottabad. Amad Afzal (39 not out) then helped Abbottabad reach the target in 12.3 overs for the loss of just one wicket. No play was possible in other match that pitted Islamabad against AJK.
Scores: Rawalpindi 70 for 8 in 15 overs (Mohammad Shawal 16, Adil Niaz 2-11, Syed Bilal 2-23). Abbottabad 71 for one 12.3 overs (Amad Afzal 39*, Usama Afridi 1-23)
