Imran presents minus-Zardari formula for alliance with PPP
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday rejected the possibility of any political alliance with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) under the leadership of its chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Responding to a question after appearing before the anti-terrorism court, he said that there should be no misunderstanding that till the presence of Asif Ali Zardari as leader of the PPP, there could not be any political alliance adding if his struggle was to get power, he could have made alliances with Nawaz. How he could be with Zardari when his fight was against corruption, Khan said. He said that the open firing by the police in Model Town incident against the Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists was not justified constitutionally.
