OKARA: Villagers overpowered two dacoits, who were escaping after looting a goldsmith’s shop on Saturday.
The dacoits entered the shop of goldsmith Khushi Muhammad at village Ladhewal and looted gold and cash. The locals chased them after hearing a hue and cry of Khushi. After covering some distance, the villagers overpowered them and thrashed them. On receiving information, DPO Faisal Rana himself reached the site and took both the dacoits in custody. The cash and gold were recovered from the dacoits.
