Hamza, Asadullah clinch U-13, U-15 squash titles
ISLAMABAD: Hamza Khan and Asadullah Khan clinched under-13 and under-15 category titles respectively in the Red-Tone KL Junior Squash Championship that concluded in Malaysia Sunday.
In the under-13 category, Hamza Khan beat Harith Danial Jefri with a final match score of 11-6, 11-6 and 11-6 to win the gold medal.
In the under-15 category, Asadullah Khan defeated Joachim Chuah in the final 12-10, 12-14, 12-10 and 11-7 to win the gold. However, in under-19 category, Mansoor Zaman got 3rd position by beating Danial Nuhaqiem with a score of 10-12, 11-9, 3-11, 11-7 and 11-6.
Whereas in U-17 category, Uzair Shoukat also got 3rd position beating Nathan Tzebing Kueh with a game score of 10-12, 17-19, 12-10, 11-6 and 15-13.
Pakistan Squash Federation sponsored a group of junior players from Pakistan National Squash Academy for participation in the event.
