One killed, two injured in Kohat firing incident

KOHAT: One person was killed and two others sustained injuries when rivals allegedly fired at them in remote Samari Payan area on Sunday, police sources said.
They said that Anwar Hayat, Khizar Ali, Kamran Khan, Habibullah, Inayat Shah, Gohar Khan and Momin Khan allegedly fired at their rivals in Samari Payan area falling in the limits of the Lachi Police Station.
As a result, Inzimam, son of Gul Hayat Shah, was killed on the spot while Tahirullah and Mehreen Gul sustained bullet injuries. The bodies and the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital in Lachi wherefrom Tahirullah was shifted to a hospital in Peshawar due to his precarious condition. The police registered the case and started raids to arrest the accused.
