2 killed, 4 injured in Kohat firing
KOHAT: Two persons were killed and four others, including a passer-by woman, sustained injuries when rival groups traded fire in districts courts on Friday, official sources said.
They said that two groups led by Noor Hayat and Yar Muhammad traded fire over an old enmity. As a result, Zahir Shah from Noor Hayat group while Jasir Amin from Yar Muhammad group were killed on the spot.
Four others including a passer-by woman sustained injuries. Taking action, the police arrested Muhammad Ilyas, son of Yar Muhammad, Bahar Ali and Naveed along with the weapons used in the crime in an injured condition.
The held persons and the woman were taken to the hospital where their condition was stated to be stable. The police registered the case and started investigation.
