BHAKKAR: The Punjab government has released Rs 110 million grant for establishment of five new colleges in the district.
According to details, Rs 20 million had been earmarked for Girls College Tehsil Bhakkar, Rs 20 million for Boys College, Behal, Rs 20 million for Boys College 47 TDA and Rs 30 million for Girls College 26 TDA. Beside this, a grant of Rs 100 million had also been released for four colleges to be established in Sargodha and Khushab.
SCHOOL SAFETY CAMPAIGN: The School Safety Campaign has started to ensure security in the schools here.
As many as 180 Master Trainers have been selected to meet any untoward situation. The training has been started at the Government High School Mandi Town, Government High School Mandi Town and Girls High School Mandi Town. Addressing the training session, the EDO Education said that the training was necessary in the current scenario to meet any emergency situation.
