Bike ambulance service in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Punjab Local Government Minister Manshaullah Butt said that the motorbike ambulance service had been launched in Gujranwala division with the initial crew of 100 motorbike ambulances.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of motorbike ambulance service here at district council hall on Sunday, he said the purpose of this service was to provide first-aid to the residents of thickly-populated areas where an ambulance cannot reach. Rescue-1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Nasir told the minister that instant emergency facilities on the motorbike include oxygen, pulse and blood pressure monitor, airway kit, trauma kit and burn kit.
