PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) head Sirajul Haq on Sunday asked Pakistan and Afghanistan to work together to end the scourge of terrorism in the region.
He was talking to reporters after visiting those who were injured in Friday’s attack on the Agriculture Training Institute sited opposite the University of Peshawar.
Sirajul Haq condemned the killing of innocent people and appreciated the efforts of the security forces for taking action against the terrorists.
He added the US was promoting terrorism in the region to support India. The JI leader said that India helped terrorists to enter Pakistan in a bid to strain relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
