Squash: Pakistan finishes 19th

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan finished 19th in 24 countries World Squash Team Championship after beating Ireland 2-0 in the French city of Marseilles Sunday.Pakistan team that lost to South Africa the other day hanged on to beat Ireland to finish 19th in the Championship. Farhan Zaman and Shahjehan Khan won their matches against Irish opponents. Ireland finished 20th, Czech Republic (21st), Jamica (22nd), Iraq (23rd) and Austria (24th).At the time of filing report Egypt were playing England for World Team title. Australia and Hong Kong teams that lost the semis will share bronze medals.
