Punjab, Balochistan thru in Blind Cricket League

LAHORE: Punjab and Balochistan won their respective matches of the Commander Soap Blind Cricket League being held at Faisalabad
On day three Punjab beat KP by nine wickets at Bohranwala Ground. KP after winning the toss set the competitive total of 407 runs on the board by losing 9 wickets in stipulated 40 overs.
Kamran Akhter was their highest scorer with 141 runs while Mati Ullah made 129 runs. Mujeeb ur Rehman took 2 Wickets while Shahzeb and Fazal e Hadi shared a wicket each.
In reply, M Rashid played marvelously and helped his side to chase the target of 408 runs. He scored unbeaten 196* runs. Punjab reached the target in 35.3 overs by losing 1 wicket.
Riasat Khan also played superb inning of unbeaten 106* runs. Fakhar Abbas took 1 wicket. Man of the Match award went to M Rashid.
Balochistan beat Sindh by two wickes at Sandal Bar College Cricket ground. Sindh won the toss and elected to bat first. Sindh made 380 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in stipulated 40 overs.
M Akram was their highest scorer with 147 runs while Haroon made 94 runs. Zeshan Abbasi bowled brilliantly and took 4 wickets. Badar and Mohsin took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Balochistan achieved the target in 39 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Amir Ashfaq played remarkably well and made unbeaten 154* runs while Badar scored 60 runs.
M Waqas took 2 wickets while Saqib and Akram shared 1 wicket each. Amir Ashfaq was the Man of the Match.
