LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said a government which is unable to resolve vital issues inside parliament and negotiate with citizens on their just demands has no right to continue in office.
Such rulers must dissolve assemblies and leave, otherwise people would have no option but to kick them out, he said while talking to the media at the Lahore airport on Tuesday after returning from Canada.
He praised the Pak Army for ensuring resolution of the sit-in crisis and restoration of peace, adding that the government did nothing but to further confuse the issue.
He said ignominy of the Sharif family was written on the wall, adding that the Sharif family was now unable to leave their homes even in veils, both in Pakistan and England.
He claimed Nawaz Sharif was sending him messages of reconciliation and was even prepared to give a written assurance that none of his family members would enter into politics.
He said now nobody would repeat the mistake of Pervez Musharraf and pardon them. He said the Sharifs attacked the faith of Khatam-e-Nabuwwat and resignation of the entire government was a just demand of the entire nation.
He said the downfall of the Sharif family started when they targeted more than 100 innocent people in Model Town. Due to the Model Town incident, they were facing wrath of Almighty Allah.
They were impeached for corruption and earned humiliation. He said the declassification of the Justice Baqar Najfi Commission report would reveal the true killers of the Model Town incident. He announced holding Tajdar-e-Khatam-e-Nabuwwat Conference on November 30 at Minar-e-Pakistan.
