Pakistan lose to Egypt in World Squash

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan lost to Egypt 0-3 in the opening match of the World Team Squash Championship under way in French city of Marseille. Farhan Zaman managed to win one game against Karim Abdel Gawad before losing 11-7, 13-11, 7-11, 11-4. The lasted just 29 minutes. Earlier, Marwan Elshorbagy beat Ammad Fareed in just 25 minutes 11-4, 11-5, 11-6. Ali Farag also took 30 minutes to dispose of Shahjahan Khan 11-3, 11-4, 11-9. Pakistan will now take on Switzerland on Wednesday. Only a victory against Switzerland would take them to pre quarter-finals of the World Team event.
