Five players move into tennis tourney second round

KARACHI: Five players moved into the second round of the under-18 singles of the 3rd McDonald’s National Juniors Tennis Championship at the Creek Club here on Friday.
In the first round, Danish Raza defeated Mathew Rodriguez 6-0, 6-0, Mazhar Hayat beat Asim Gul 6-4, 6-1, Mujahidullah Khattak won against Sohaib Kamran 6-0,6-0, Yahya Ehtesham beat Rahil Shabbir 6-1,6-1, while Ammar Ismail outclassed Arib Ahmed 6-0,6-1.
