LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has said the real message of Rabi-ul-Awwal is to establish the supremacy of Islam all over the world and enforcement of Nizam-e-Mustafa in Muslim states. Muslim world must forge unity in its ranks and adopt a joint strategy for the revival of Khilafat, he said while delivering Friday sermon at Mansoora masjid.
Sirajul Haq said the life of the Prophet (PBUH) is a model for mankind until the doomsday and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has given the best system of politics, economy, trade and governance to humanity. He said the Islamic system provided solution to all human problems and ailments for all the times to come. He said Pakistan was established for enforcing and practicing Islam, but for the last 70 years the country was being run under secularism and ruled by elements who were slaves of secular forces. These people were drifting the country and the nation away from Islam and the western laws were being enforced in the country. The western culture of immorality and nudity was being promoted. He said the enforcement of Deen would help to eliminate exploitation, tyranny, immorality, interest-based economy and also the violation of women rights.
The JI leader said the elite ruling the country considered Islam the biggest threat to their interests although Islam was the blessing for mankind. Islam disallowed maltreatment to others, burning of trees and crops. Referring to international Women Protection Day today (Saturday), Sirajul Haq said Islam gave respect and dignity to womenfolk in the relations of mother, sister, daughter and wife.
On the other hand, the west was exploiting the women by projecting them as a market commodity. In the western countries, women were being forced to work in factories, exposing them to harsh insecure conditions and short dress. Islam, he said, was the greatest protector of women rights and had granted them the right of inheritance.
Earlier, a JI delegation led by the party Information Secretary Amirul Azeem participated in the Quran Khawani for the martyred army Major Muhammad Ishaq at Model Town on Friday. Major Ishaq had embraced martyrdom in a gun battle with terrorists in DI Khan. Amirul Azeem paid glowing tributes to Major Ishaq Shaheed for sacrificing his life for the country and the nation while struggling to wipe out terrorists from the homeland. He said the martyrs were the heroes of the country and the nation would never forget their sacrifices.
